Purpose: This is an individual assessment where students are required to develop an ePortfolio that
demonstrates engagement and reflection with various unit learning resources both provided in
Moodle and sourced by students within various areas of business communication. This assessment
also focuses on Interpersonal and Digital literacy.
21st C Organisational Communication – With reference to the core readings:
• a) Explain “The Importance of plain English in written documents” for Chinese students. (250 words
max)
• Discuss some of the communication challenges in virtual or hybrid organisations and identify how
they could be resolved. (250 words max)
Referencing requirements: Students must reference their ePortfolio submissions with relevant in
sentence citations and references using APA 7ed style.
