Acct 492-internship experience

For your final journal, we are going to switch some things up. Instead of a full three pages, you will create a 3-2-1 analysis, sometimes used in teaching. A 3-2-1 prompt helps students structure their responses to a text, film, or lesson by asking them to describe three takeaways, two questions, and one thing they enjoyed. It provides an easy way for teachers to check for understanding and to gauge students’ interest in a topic. Your modified prompt is below:

1. Create three takeaways from your overall internship experience. What lessons have you learned that you will apply to your future?
2. Share two of your favorite memories from your internship
3. Take one photo that represents your internship experience. You can be as creative as you want but like any piece of good marketing, should not need any explanation. Example photo ideas: A name tag, your workspace, the company building, stacks of your work, one of your projects, etc. For those in a restricted area, you should not violate any company policy with your photo.
4. Create six resume bullet points for your internship. Select skills or achievements that are related to your career goals. Where you can, include quantitative data (#, %, or $)

Helpful Tips:

1. To better help you create your bullet points, first think of the skill you want to highlight i.e. Customer Service
2. Next, state how you showcased that skill i.e. answered phone calls, interacted with clients, and dealt with project complaints
3. Combine the skill and how you showcased the skill i.e. Utilized strong customer service skills through answering client questions, dealing with project complaints, and answering phone calls.

Grading Criteria
