This mandatory activity requires installing Office 365 on a Windows 10 PC or registering with Microsoft Azure Lab Services.

Students without access to a Windows 10 PC must send an email with their full name and type of computer they have to their instructor requesting access to an Azure Virtual Machine. After this request, students will receive an email invitation to register with Azure lab services. These students must then follow

Students with a Windows 10 PC that does not have Microsoft Office version 2019 or later installed on their computer musT use the following video linkhttps:
//laccd.zoom.us/rec/play/xJeU0g3vo2RChN37wcx… as a guide to install Microsoft Office 365 on their Mac or Windows 10 computer. Students already having Office 2019 or later installed on their PC do not need to install the software.

After completing the activity, every student must make an original post by replying to this message summarizing what they achieved:

• Students with a Windows 10 PC that do not already have Office 2019 or later installed on their computer must indicate if they could or could not successfully install Office 365. Students not successful in installing Office 365 must make a post describing the problem(s) they encountered.
• Students not having a Windows 10 PC must indicate if they were or were not successful in registering with and connecting to Azure Lab Services. Students who could not succeed in registering with and connecting to Azure Lab Services must make a Post indicating the problem(s) they encountered.

All students must also make a second post to assist a student with installing Office 365 or registering with & using Azure Lab Services.

Once signed in, you will connect to your virtual machine. The credentials for your
virtual machine are:

Important Note:

The above Virtual Lab will be available for students use until 24-hours after the
end of the semester. For the Spring 2021 semester, this falls on midnight Tuesday
June 8. If by the end of the semester, you have data on the Virtual Lab that you
like to keep, please back them up before this deadline. All data on the Virtual Lab
will be deleted at 8 AM Wednesday, June 9.
To backup your data from a PC or a Mac, please follow these instructions.
1) Copy data from the remote Virtual Machine by selecting the
file(s)/folders(s) and pressing Ctrl+C keys combination
2) MINIMIZE the RDP window without closing it
3) “Paste” the copied data into a directory of your choice on your computer.
To backup your data from any computer using your LACC OneDrive account,
follow these instructions.
1) Open a browser
2) Log into https://mycollege.laccd.edu
3) Open Outlook
4) From the waffle menu in the upper left, choose OneDrive
5) Create a folder in OneDrive
6) Drag any important documents to that folder
